Wheel Driver concept brings Tron Light Cycle to reality

Not all concept designs are created equal when it comes to practicality, but some of the most fun ideas usually defy convention. In that vein, Yuji Fujimura’s Wheel Driver concept vehicle is meant to inspire the next generation of design teams at Yamaha . While at first it may seem like the Wheel Driver is simply a pretty wheel, Fujimura’s additional renderings reveal that the driver is housed within the wheel itself in a crouching position (think Tron , and replace the Lite Brite stripes with chrome).
